Explain the suitability and coherence of the composition of the group, preferably multidisciplinary, to achieve the objectives. Indicate collaborations with other groups or institutions.
The SISAP research group (GR-SISAP) is a multidisciplinary group that includes specialists in preventive medicine, family medicine and statistics. The group aims to develop research in the field of primary care information systems. This includes studies on the use of indicators or clinical practice support tools created from computerised medical record data; but also work in the field of the organisation and management of primary care teams (EAP), and epidemiological and public health analyses from the point of view of primary care (PC). Thus, the group is committed to rigorous research and the practical applicability of the results in the day-to-day work of PC professionals to improve clinical practice and the health of the population.
In the last 4 years, the members of the group have carried out different research works of their own and also jointly with other consolidated groups of the IDIAP (GAVINA, PROSAARU, RWEpi), with the research group BIOCOM-SC (Group of Computational Biology) of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, the paediatric health research group COPEDI-CAT, the University of Oxford and the Secretary General’s Office.
